DORA performs research and development in the field of Microelectronics. The company is part of STMicroelectronics Group, a global semiconductor manufacturer, and a leader in developing manufacturing and marketing of integrated solutions for a wide range of microelectronic applications.

Research by DORA includes: the study and definition of advanced system architectures, the choice of technology, the design and verification of prototypes and the development of testing programs. Close collaboration with the Engineering Faculty of Turin Polytechnic (Aosta branch) and other University institutes, and a strategic position with respect to the most advanced research laboratories in France, Italy and Switzerland, make DORA a centre of excellence for high technology in the Region.

FOCUSDORA’s activities include the study of systems, the definition of innovative architecture right down to prototype design, verification, and the development of testing programs. The main fields of application that DORA focuses on are: communication of audio and video data using the 220V supply lines, power supply in mobile systems (notebooks, PDAs, etc.) and power management for networking applications.
